I have used Broderbund's "Home & Business Lawyer" for years. One year of updates are free. It is a fill in-a-blank worksheet. You are asked to give information or select an option. You can select to get an legal explanation on items that require a selection. The program works this way:

1. Select the legal document you want to prepare, for example, Power of Attorney.
2. Fill in the form, and then save, print & sign as instructed.

This software includes 1200+ legal forms and documents in many categories.

Tools are provided to help inreparing data such as a selection of worksheets, checklists, guides and calculators. Included is access to a Law Library of resources and reference materials and legal advice from 1000+ lawyers.

The legal forms may be categorized into 13 groups: general business, employment, corporate, estate planning, estate administration, real estate & landlord/tenant, Family & personal, school& education, personal finance, health & medical, Credit, consumer, and governmentletters.

The 10 most frequently used "personal legal forms" are as follows: Living will, last will and testament, power of attorney, prenuptial agreement, automobile bill of sale, promissory note, living trust, joint living trust, child care authorization, and bill of sale. The forms are legal for the state where you live, i.e., AR, TX, etc. This is a very important feature.

This "lawyer in your computer" program allows you to modify legal documents to keep them up to date. For example you change your will. Go to the document that you have already prepared in the past. You can make changes to bring the will up to date.
