Welcome to 2009!
I hope this year proves to be a happy and healthy one to all the members and their families.

I plan to keep the first couple of presentation topics fairly low key and simple due to the weather we usually have the first few months of the year. Never know when bad weather will strike and we will have low attendance or even a cancelation.

It would be nice if there was a secret formula that we could use to increase our membership, and attract a new bunch of young and talented members. As a group we have a tremendous amount of experience and talent that needs to be shared with all our members, young and old.

The reverse is also true, there is a lot that of new and exciting things we could learn from an influx of newer members. In February, I intend to give a presentation on the use of browsers and the Internet. It became obvious during the November meeting, that quite a few of our members were unaware of the workings of the browsers, especially in what happens in the Temp folders.

I have a few ideas on how to increase our membership and intend to try a few during the year and see if they have any effect.

I am sure Robert Davis is open to any and all suggestions on what would make a good presentation and someone willing to give one.

Always remember to invite a friend to our meetings and share with them the newsletter.
