We had a great meeting in January, with 10 visitors and 2 becoming members. Selling on eBay, by Paul Buckner, President, Bella Vista Computer Group, was a big hit. Many in attendance said they would be interested in a special interest group for this subject. All we need is some one to lead the group. Contact me if you would like to lead this special interest group. I believe that special interest groups are the answer to gaining new members. Please take note of our new format for the meetings. The program comes first, followed by the "Tip of the Month" and business items. The program will be limited to 50 minutes. If members want to discuss the topic further, they can meet with the speaker during the Special Interest Group meetings that start at 2 p.m..

Tips of the month
We have introduced a new feature to our regular meetings. I encourage all members to contribute to "Tips of the Month". You have used a program, an utility, or little known trick or feature of Microsoft operating system that has been very helpful. Step forward and tell the group about them. You don't have to prepare a mind boggling presentation or hand out. Just get up and give us the facts, how to use the tip, and where to obtain the utility or program. Your club leadership want every member to contribute to the meetings. Please contact me if you want to give a tip at the February meeting.

Bring a friend
I encourage you to bring a visitor who wants to learn more about PC operations and applications.
