I was pleasantly surprised by the turnout of twenty members and one guest. Jim Kysilka and I were taken on a very interesting tour of Springdale High Schools Vocational Education classrooms recently. We only had time to glance at the machine shop, cnc, and welding departments.

We spent much more time examining the computer labs and conversing with several of the computer teachers. They grabbed every copy of the newsletter that I had with me and promised to pass them on to interested students. I was surprised at the amount of computer labs they had, I saw at least four but am sure there were more. We have an open invitation to visit the classrooms at Har-Ber High School. We are looking forward to visiting there soon.

It looks like we will have future presentations on the browser and the internet, Printmaster, and quite possibly one on flash drives.

In the following months I will be moving forward on the topics covered in the general discussion: Photo ID’s, Help Clinic after the general meeting, and a general surplus sale after one of our meetings..

Robert and I are still looking for more timely topics for presentations and someone willing to give a presentation.
