WE NEED MORE MEMBERS TO ROW THE BOAT!
The officers and board members are doing a great job of taking care of computers and projectors, keeping track of money, taking minutes, getting good programs, and publishing a great newsletter and WEB site. We would like to see more participation by more members who do not have an assigned job to keep this group moving. There are ways you can help, such as:
1. Present a TIP OF THE MONTH (TOM). You don't have to be a polished professional speaker. Just stand up and tell!
2. Contact some one you think could provide an interesting program. If they are willing, pass the contact information to our Program Chairman ( "PCUG - VP & PGM CHM - JOE SCHORK" jschork@hotmail.com).
3. Put up meeting posters at local bulletin boards, stores, libraries, activity centers, etc., before meetings.
4. You use a program that is great and a lot of people don't know about it. It could be a free-ware, trial-ware, or purchased program. Contact Joe Schork and get in line for a presentation.
TIP OF THE MONTH
Now that I have presented three TOM's, you must have an idea for a TIP. The March TOM was about a computer advice program on local radio KFAY 1030AM, the Kim Komando Show. I did not give the times that the program is broadcasted. Here are the times: Sat@10am, Sun@9am, and daily for a few minutes at 6am.What do you do to safely send a large batch of Email to a bunch of people at one time? Come to the April meeting to find how.
