March meeting recap
I realize that a lot of members use different browsers to access the Internet, but since I use Internet Explorer, that?s what I chose to use in my last presentation. While there are many differences between each one there are a lot of similarities. Most now have tabs and menu bars. It was the menu bars and the various commands contained in them that was the focus of the presentation. I wasn?t quite my usual self and I didn?t realize if I got this across or not. The commands are very important and you can use the search or help feature to get an explanation of what they are and how they can be used. Check several out and see if they become clear.

I also mentioned that starting with the April meeting, I will be starting a Computer help session after the end of each meeting. This will last about an hour and I will try to help at least two people with their problems. I only ask that those that need help send me an E-mail at least a week before the meeting. This will allow me to pick two to help and avoid a bunch of people bringing in their computers at one time. All you will need to bring is your laptop or desktop unit as I will have a mouse, keyboard and monitor with me. Any one else is welcome to stay and watch to see what I do to help fix some of the problems presented. I am also looking for other volunteers that can do the same thing for others. This will allow us to spend more time on an individual problem than what can be done during a normal meeting. My E-mail is: jschork@hotmail.com.
